Summary:
Provides clinical patient care (screenings, evaluations and treatments), as it relates to Speech Language Pathology.
Documents diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, discharge summaries, recommendations, progress reports, daily treatment records, home programs, and patient charge sheets.
Utilizes opportunities to promote speech pathology and physical medicine via appropriate formal and informal activities.
Provides educational training to hospital staff (physicians and ancillary staff) and community sales as requested.
Education:
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification:
Valid Oklahoma State License to Practice Speech Language Pathology.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients and families.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to use computers, basic computer knowledge, as needed for data input and reporting.
